Community and Labor leaders with Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action (COPA) celebrated the Monterey Board of Supervisor’s decision to move forward with the implementation of a Low Income Healthcare Plan (LIHP), January 15th.

After a two year struggle to get the LIHP off the ground, the county is now poised to begin insurance enrollment of county residents making 100% of the Federal Poverty Level.
