MOC Wins First City Investment in Shelter Expansion

Marin Co., CA - Thanks to the Marin Organizing Committee, Fairfax became the first city in Marin County to financially commit to expanding a seasonal homeless shelter into a year-round project; the Town Council approved funding at $16,392.

Soon after, leaders held a 'Housing Sabbath' to raise awareness of the campaign. MOC leaders plan to target nine other cities, in addition to Marin County, to cover the cost of expansion.
